When teaching how to use a compass, you can take a minute extra to create a metaphor for finding direction in life. (See ideas here.) This handout includes instructions for using a compass and a quote:
“Where you look is where you’ll go.”-Noelle Pikus Pace (Olympic Silver Medalist)
Print in color and cut into four handouts.
It can be folded so the quote is on one side and the instructions on the other. Laminate and punch a hole in the corner so the handout can be connected to the string on a compass.
